The home of Jenna Lyons is styled perfectly.  The bones of the home are exquisite, so the use of accessories need not be overdone.  This is a perfect example of simple and minimal at its best.

This gun cabinet is the pride and joy of all my furnishings.  It was made for my grandfather when he was Sheriff of La Plata County back in the 70's.  It now houses place mats, napkins, candles, etc., all things needed for setting a stylish table.

$3000, to include a stylish sofa sleeper to accommodate guests in a home office, tough to do but this room came in at $2995!  The desk is crazy stylish.  The cabinet is big enough for whatever office storage is needed.  Cocktail tables, small and light, easy to move.  Simple, chic, and stylish.

modern classic: ibiza chair

 

The Barcelona Chair is an icon of Modern design dating back to 1929.  It was designed by Ludwig Mies van der Rohe and Lilly Reich for the German Pavillion and made its debut at the International Exposition of 1929 in Barcelona Spain.  The use of chrome on steel and leather with clean lines was a design ahead of it's time and a design that would never go out of style.  Once the patent expired, the Barcelona is now licenced by one manufacturer.  Fortunately there other great, lower priced, reproductions available.

 

The Ibiza will be the featured guest in this week's Style Board coming Wednesday.
