photoshop help desperately needed, PLEASE!!!

It is time to invest a little more somethin somethin into 20.twelve.3 interiors.  I have purchased new cards, a new laptop (buh bye Windows Vista) and Photoshop.

While there are plenty of tutorials available for Photoshop, I have yet to find one really good and thorough one, for creating Interior Design Style Boards. So I am reaching out to anyone who can help me create boards like these shown.

If someone could recommend a site, a book or even if someone could send me a broken down "list" of  the tools to use in Photoshop, you would be my greatly appreciated superhero!

Drop me a line at TCSTYLIST1@GMAIL.COM

THANK YOU MUCHLY IN ADVANCE!!!

love it, live it: pantone color of the year 2016 inspired bedroom

Since I like a "restful" bedroom, the Pantone Color of the Year Combo of Rose Quartz and Serenity was an easy do...my fave are the glass rose quartz pendants.  Soft color palette with plenty of texture make this bedroom dreamy.

bring on 2016!

2015 ended with some big changes for me, primarily a move.  I moved "back home", to my childhood home, reveal coming soon.  With this move I am no longer in a metro area, so my biggest challenge is to attract new clients, locally and nationally, through my e-Styling services.  This blog, my blog, is my best tool for advertising, Craigslist is NOT.

I am more driven than ever to create Style Boards, as well as sharing styling and lifestyle tips.  I now have an amazing kitchen so there will be plenty of "dining in" recipes, starting the New Year off with a Kale, Mushroom and Gnocchi recipe later this week.

But first things first;  Pantone has chosen two colors for 2016 Color of the Year, Rose Quartz and Serenity.  The first of three style boards, a bedroom, will be up on the blog Wednesday.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

the fashionable home: fur

With my recent move, I was excited to change up my decor a bit.  I didn't really purchase anything new (more on this later), except some black lacquer spray, some assorted fabrics and a few yards of faux fur from Jo Ann's.  Faux, and not faux, fur isn't just a winter fashion staple, it is now a home fashion must have as well.  Fur accessories add texture and warmth, as well as a touch of luxe.

My pillow...about $5.00

My ottoman...about $9.00

I was going to make a rug out of this piece, but I decided to throw it on the bed...
Manco approves.

cozying up for fall, with PARACHUTE Bedding

Since the beginning of September, I have; packed, moved, cleaned, unpacked, painted, styled, painted, unpacked, styled, unpacked...and we just had our first snow of the season.  Am I ready to get cozy?  Why yes, yes I am.

While I believe in being warm and cozy while viewing a little nighttime t.v., my cozy retreat is my bed.  A bed with soft, comfy linen sheets, a sateen duvet cover for my down comforter, a relaxing lavender candle and a great book.  Since my sleep attire is sleeveless, my arms can get a bit chilly while reading, so there is nothing like wrapping up in a soft, warm, cozy cashmere throw to keep the chill at bay.

Parachute bedding is all about quality, craftmanship, and comfort; the three essential elements for a cozy fall...and winter.
