This week's Style Board was inspired by Dolce & Gabbana S/S 2014. It is a sexy and glam lounge grounded with natural texture (an ode to the amazing landscape that is Italy).
Season after season, Dolce & Gabbana does not disappoint, ever. Their fashion is feminine, feminine, a little retro, feminine, sultry and sexy, sexy, sexy.
I love the play of pattern, color, and style of this week's Interior Style Board inspired by J Crew. This living room is preppy and pretty while not too traditional. The mix creates a relaxed vibe, and it is tailored without being stuffy. Perfect for a coastal cottage.
I am providing proof today that spring, as we would like to know it, has still not sprung. Further proof that Punxsutawney Phil needs to retire...we are looking at a 50° drop in temperature and 8 to 12 inches of snow. Am I going to be pissy tomorrow? YES!!!
I am however going keep my chin up and create a pretty and springy Interior Style Board inspired by a lovely ensemble from J Crew
Men have caves, we gals should have lairs...the inspiration for this Chic Lair comes from the cool, ladylike style of Julia Sariñana of Sincerely Jules. Textural greys, classic black leather, sassy leopard, a little bling and denim. The denim for the drapes would most definitely get a dose of distress.
For those of you plagued by SFT, Seasonal Fashion Transition, take a cue from the super stylish Julia Sariñana of Sincerely Jules. Lotsa texture, minimal print and just fabulously cool. Great ensemble, soon to be a kick ass room. Fashion Inspired Interior Style Board on Wednesday.
Show me an ensemble of mixed patterns and you are guaranteed a squeal! Give me the chance to use Chinoiserie panels, stripes, andbold colors...cover your ears! Floral, stripes and primary colors; including Pantones Color of the Year, make for a fresh and vibrant dining room.
